It all began over 14 years ago... When Andy started performing magic in local bars and at private parties, after a few years of gaining experience Andy decided to move to Benidorm in Spain. |

CLICK IMAGE TO ENLARGE After performing at all sorts of events from weddings to corporate golf dinners and building a solid reputation as a close up magician, Andy landed a residency at the Benidorm Palace - One of the most prestigeous entertainment venues in the world. Hosting nightly audiences of up to 2000 people for an amazing dinner & show experience.

Andy started by busking in the beach bars of Benidorm, and straight away his magic landed a residency in a chain of 4 bars on the beach front. Working his magic every night in front of hundreds of people Andy's Sleight of Hand became faster and faster.

Andy was hired to perform "Walk Around Magic" for 30 minutes before the main show. After his spot Andy would sometimes stay to watch the show consisting of all different types of acts. Whilst watching the Jugglers, Acrobats, Clowns, and even the 40 showgirls filling the stage, Andy had the ambition to someday perform on this, the largest stage in Europe.

Over the next few years Andy perfected his sleight of hand magic at the Benidorm Palace and also developed his stage magic act in front of audiences all over Spain.
With years of working on candles disappearing, doves appearing, his comedy timing and even having snow fly 30 feet from his bare hands, it finally paid off. |

Andy was asked to create a special show along with another magician for the Benidorm Palace.
The show took over a year to create and was watched by both live and national television audiences.

Andy James performed the WORLDS largest live stage illusion.

He performed this to live audiences of up to 2000 people, nightly, for 6 months.

In 2007 Andy was approached to perform his unique style of magic on a cruise ship. 4 years later Andy had evolved a full repertoire of comedy stage magic and had performed shows throughout the cruise industry.
During that time he met a dancer that was happy to have him make her disappear, lock her up, "Compress" her and even cut her in half! Then in 2011 they were offered a contract by Holland America Cruise Lines to develop and perform a grand illusion show on their new flagship the MS Nieuw Amsterdam. |
The show from start to finish was a rollercoaster ride of magic, skill, grand illusion and laughter. The finale however went right back to Andy's roots demonstrating "LIVE" on the BIG screen for all to see, Andy's most intricate slieght of hand and baffling misdirection.

Today Andy and his Dancing girl are now happily married and live in Dublin. He still performs quick solo "Fly Out" (3-7 day) contracts all over the world for the major cruise companies however is now enjoying working closer to home, performing his close up sleight of hand magic at all types of functions, such as Weddings, Corporate Events, Private Parties, and at Trade Shows & Exhibitions all over Ireland. |
